KLM/Air France offer each month a promotion that let you book award flights for fewer miles than usual, similar to Miles-and-More and their so called “Meilenschnäppchen”
- Booking period: until the end of October 2022
- Travel period : until March 31, 2023
The usual promo awards are available, like 25%-50% off in miles for Economy and Premium Economy flights.
This month highlight
This month you can book Economy Class flights from Europe to the US from just 11,250 miles one-way, or 22,500 miles round-trip.
The starting point of the tickets is always Europe, the flight within Europe to Amsterdam or Paris is always included. Of course, taxes and fees have to be paid additionally.
You can book the tickets directly with Air France and KLM.
American Express to Flying Blue
The Promo Awards can be particularly interesting for owners of an American Express credit card, since American Express Membership Rewards points can easily be converted into Flying Blue miles. For the moment you will get 60,000 points as welcome bonus if you apply for an American Express card, those points can be converted to 30.000 Flying Blue Miles.
