American Express offers different cards, three of them are perfect if you want to earn miles.
The American Express Gold and the American Express Platinum card. These cards are perfect if you want to collect miles with an airline alliance of your choice.

American Express Brussels Airlines
If you only like to collect Miles-and-More only, the American Express Brussels Airlines is the best credit card in Luxembourg to collect miles.
For every 1 € spent, you will get 1.5 Miles-and-More. Those can only be used to book flights with Miles-and-More members.
If you apply for the card now, you will get 6000 welcome miles, and after each year a bonus of 10000 Miles if you spent more than 20000€ within that year.
The card is the first three months are for free, thereafter 12.5€ a month.
You will get some good insurances as well.
Visa Platinum Luxair Miles&More by BCEE
For every 2 € spent you will get 1 mile at Miles-and-More automatically. These can also only be used for flights with Miles-and-More members.
Travel insurances are a bit better compared to the American Express Gold card, but not as good as with the American Express Platinum card.
If you apply for the card now, you will get up to EUR 95 off your next Luxair flight as well as 5000 welcome Miles.
Airport Lounge Access
